What did you think of the season finale?
finally dropped the season finale on Friday, and showed fans how Ronald Gladden reacted when he was finally told that he was part of a TV show.
The unwitting reality show star was the only person in a whole mockumentary-style show who was unaware of what was really happening around him - and has earned a legion of fans thanks to his kind and compassionate personality, and his calm reactions to the increasingly bizarre incidents happening around him.
Discussing the finale, fans had a somewhat mixed reaction to the big reveal - though it's fair to say that plenty of viewers had a tear in their eye! One person wrote: "Literally sobbing at the #JuryDuty finale. Ronald is such a tremendous human being," while another added: "The 'judge' telling Ronald what a good person he was made me genuinely teary-eyed."
However, others were concerned about Ronald’s reaction, with one writing: "Ronald look like he was ready to cry when he learned the truth. #JuryDuty," while another added: "I kind of feel sad for Ronald, because he really connected with these people who weren't real."
A third person added: "I feel like they chose to pay Ronald the 100k so he wouldn’t sue the show for emotional trauma and newfound paranoia. Weeks of a fake reality could’ve messed him up! I actually felt kinda bad for him."
Others even believed that Ronald was in on the joke until the finale, with one fan tweeting: "Wow! Just wow! I really thought I was being played. Thought for like a couple episodes that Ronald was also an actor. But that last episode…that was one hell of an entertaining endeavor. I thorough enjoyed it."

Others were delighted by how things wrapped up. "Honestly Jury Duty has been one of the best shows I’ve seen in a long time," one fan wrote. "The final episode kinda got me …congrats to Ronald for being YOU and for being $100,000 richer." Another posted: "The finale of #JuryDuty is so goddamn heartwarming I can’t stand it. What a perfect season of television."
The Amazon FreeVee series confirmed that Ronald remained in touch with his fellow jurors since the show finished, and shared snaps of the new star enjoying a beer with James Marsden and spending time with other cast mates.
